Selman & Asocs

Born in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in April 20th, 1968.

Obtains his Bachelor in Architecture degree from UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL PEDRO HENRIQUEZ URENA (UNPHU) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 1991 and then a Masters in Architecture degree from TULANE UNIVERSITY in New Orleans, LA, United States of America in 1992.

Has led the firm for since 1992 as Senior/Managing Architect.  His works have been widely published and have received many recognitions and awards.

Obtains his Bachelor in Architecture degree from UNIVERSIDAD NACIONAL PEDRO HENRIQUEZ URENA (UNPHU) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 1998 and then a Masters in Architecture degree from UNIVERSIDAD POLITECNICA DE CATALUÑA in Barcelona, Spain 2000.

Lashmi joined selman & asociados arquitectura as a Project Architect in December 2006.

Received an early education at Saint George School, Santo Domingo, D.R., obtaining an International Baccalaureate Diploma, 1990-2003 and the school’s highest recognition, Honorifico Cristobal Tejeda, 2003. Graduated at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), Sto. Domingo, D.R. obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Architecture (Summa Cum Laude), 2003-2007. Obtains a Masters Degree in Interior Arquitecture from Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), Sto. Domingo and Universidad de A Coruña, Spain in 2009. Was awarded “Academic Excellence 2007” by Fundación Jóvenes en Desarrollo. Obtained first place in the VIIII Forum Mondial Des Jeunes Architectes Saint Pierre, Martinique, March-April 2007. Other studies include: MAXON modelling on the program Cinema 4D: Altos de Chavon, La Romana, D.R., January 2005; and ICOMOS 2006 XXVII Seminar on Conservation and Monument Restoration, D.R., Nov 2006. Alicia joined the studio in April 2007.

Earned his bachelor degree in Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 2006. In 2008 obtains a Masters degree in “3D Design and visual Simulation in architecture” from the Fundació UPC (Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña) and in 2009, a Masters degree in “Advanced Architecture” at the IAAC (Instituto de Arquitectura Avanzada de Cataluña), both in Barcelona, Spain.Jose Manuel joined Selman&asociadosarquitectura as a Project Architect in march 2010.

Born in Santo Domingo November 28 1978.

Currently in the 10th semestre of architecture in Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo.

Joan joined selman & asociados arquitectura as Project Architect in 2005.

Earned her degree in Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 2007.  Other studies include a coursework in "Architectural Design 3D I" (Cinema 4D) in Altos de Chavón and a Masters in "Product Design and Innovation" degree from Instituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Barcelona, Spain 2009.
Leisha joined the studio as Project Architect in November 2007.

Earned his Bachelor in Architecture degree in 2003 from "Universidad Iberoamericana" (UNIBE. Other courses that can be mentioned are: 3D Design in architectural desktop (2005) Arquigraph, 3D Design in 3D Studio (2008). Metropolis. Design in Photoshop CS4 (2010) CSI.

Alejandro joined selman & asociados arquitectura as an Project Architect  in June 2005.

Obtained his Bachelor in Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE), in 2006 and a Master in Design and Interior Architecture from UPM, Madrid,2009

Other studies include Workshop in Urban Desing with students of the University of Technology, Jamaica, 2003; 3D Animation in 2004; Flash Animation and Architectural Desktop, in 2005.

Carlos joined selman & asociados arquitectura in 2006.

In 2009, graduated from the university Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) obtaining a Bachelor of Architecture degree.
Jhaniel joined selman & asociados arquitectura as Junior Architect
in September 2010.

Earned her bachelor degree in Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic in 2010.
Paloma joined selman&asociadosarquitectura as a Junior Architect in April 2011.
